SUPER FEM explores innovative, intersectional learning approaches to personal and collective empowerment, skills development and social integration. It cultivates reciprocal learning and training between femininities (women, transgender women, non-binary persons, trans-sexual women) belonging to multiple discriminated groups and youth organisations working with marginalised individuals. The claim for equal treatment of all genders is at the heart of SUPER FEM. Project targets femininities that are difficult to include in youth work and learning due to their life conditions or context.

In line with the European Youth Together programme, SUPER FEM fosters:

– Accessibility of democratic processes through civil society and youth organisations for under-represented groups of young people

– Competences of youth organisations& workers in dealing with multiple discriminations, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic

 – Access of marginalised youth to youth work and customised learning opportunities

– Promotion of Erasmus+ and European dimension of activities of partner organisations

– Quality assurance in youth work

– Kick off meeting and a capacity building activity

 – Formation of local working groups

– Local sessions for mutual learning

 – Blended mobility and mid-term meeting

 – 5 local and one transnational awareness campaign on experiences with experiences of oppression connected to intersecting identities.

– Two local and one transnational multiplier events and a final evaluation meeting in the context of a transnational festival on intersectionality. Deliverables

 – Toolkit with good practices for incorporating intersectionality in learning activities

– 14 art products setting off from life stories of participating persons/femininities

 – A platform collecting OERs other project material
