About Us

The Institute for Roma and Minorities Inclusion (IRMI) is a Germany-based non-profit organisation promoting equal opportunities, social inclusion and active participation through educational, research and community-based initiatives targeting vulnerable groups, particularly ethnic minorities, Roma communities, migrants, refugees and people with fewer opportunities.
Our expertise is to develop curricula, training programmes, methodological tools and digital learning solutions, including  open educational platforms, responding to the needs of diverse learners, professionals and communities.
IRMI’s work places particular emphasis on social inclusion, anti-discrimination, migrant integration, digital transformation, democratic participation, employability, wellbeing and community resilience, while fostering multi-stakeholder cooperation, policy dialogue and sustainable exploitation of results within transnational partnerships.

Vision

Institute for Roma and Minorities Inclusion strives for a society where the target groups ( Roma, migrants, refugees and people with fewer opportunities) enjoy equal access to opportunities regardless of their ethnicity, have a voice in their community and society, whose needs are tackled by the institutions that have a direct impact in their daily lives

Mission

To ensure sustainable community development by creating opportunities for quality engagement of civil society, advancing learning opportunities, and active involvement of the target groups as people with fewer opportunities.
