On 14–15 May, the final conference of the DICOMI Project was held in Istanbul, as part of the 24th International Primary Teacher Education Symposium.
The event brought together educators, researchers, project partners and stakeholders to present and discuss the main results of DICOMI, an Erasmus+ project focused on using digital comics as an innovative educational tool to support migrant children, strengthen social cohesion and promote respect for people displaced by war, especially from Ukraine and Syria.
During the conference, the partnership shared the project’s key outcomes, educational materials and digital learning approaches developed throughout the implementation period. The event also provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences on inclusive education, digital storytelling, migration awareness and the role of teachers in creating safe, creative and welcoming learning environments.
The final conference marked an important milestone for the DICOMI Project, highlighting the value of creativity, digital tools and international cooperation in supporting more inclusive and empathetic education across Europe.
