Let us introduce our Erasmus+ project called “DigityRoma”! 
Did you know that active participation of the Roma community is the 10th Common Basic Principle on Roma Inclusion of the European Commission? 
The main challenge is how to foster meaningful participation of Roma that will not end up being tokenism.
Another frequently observed limitation is the lack of necessary educational or technical skills, as well as formal qualifications to participate in the design and shaping decision making processes. 
Based on the above, DigityRoma project underlines the need of fostering civic engagement of Roma adults in their local communities, bringing them closer to EU values and ideas of union and diversity.
So our main goals during this project (which will end in August 2025) are:
to create an educative platform with 6 modules on civic engagement and participationto organise 5 national training eventsto find 10 positive role models and make them Ambassadors of Roma civic engagement and participation to organise 5 multiplier events to create a Manual for adult educators containing educational tools on digital storytellingto make an online campaign through social media during the EU Roma week
