We are hiring Project Manager for EU Funded Projects

As part of the continuous growth and expansion in the organisation’s projects of transnational cooperation, we are looking to hire a hard-working and enthusiastic Project Manager for EU-Funded Projects to join our team as soon as possible, on a part or full time. Candidate/s should live in Germany but remote work is also an option.  

Job description

The main duties of the Project Manager position involve leading the implementation of specific ongoing projects, with contribution under 2 main pillars:

  • Project Management and coordination both in terms of the activities foreseen for the organization as well as at consortium level, vis-à-vis all other partners involved.
  • Implementation of specific project activities, including the design of research methodologies, the performance of desk and field research and writing of reports; the development of training materials and other technical outputs; as well as the organisation of project meetings and events.

Additionally, the Project Manager will be asked to contribute during the preparation of new proposals for funding under various Programmes, mainly Erasmus+, CEVR, AMIF etc.

Essential skills

  • University degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Law, or other related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven professional experience in project management and implementation of EU or other donour funded projects and programmes.
  • Research background on issues directly linked with the work of the organisation, and especially in areas such as social protection and support to socially vulnerable groups.
  • Hands-on experience in report writing, including project reports and technical outputs.
  • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation, incl. budget monitoring and reporting on performance.
  • Knowledge of EC procedures, particularly about the Erasmus+, CEVR, AMIF, and H2020 programmes.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to meet tight timetables and deadlines and deliver in high quality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge in German is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in inclusion and participation of Minorities, Migrants, Roma and other vulnerable groups

Desirable skills

  • Postgraduate degree and/or a Ph.D. in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in drafting applications for funding submitted under calls for proposals either from the EU or from other international donours.
  • Previous experience in the design and implementation of awareness raising and communication activities, as well as in cultivating partnerships and networking with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and awareness raising events.
